I just hope whatever original idea you put out in public; it won't get patented by some tech giant.
- lgats 6y agoThough I'm having trouble finding the source, I believe there to some degree an idea published in a public fashion becomes un-patentable / public domain after a given period (something like 6 months). Hopefully someone can chime in on details about publicly shared ideas and patentability.
- triceratops 6y agoPretty sure a patent like that would be invalidated due to prior art. It might be expensive to take to court though. Obligatory IANAL.
