Pyramid: The Start Small / Finish Big Python Web Framework
- darkhorse13 6y agoI have always been fascinated with Pyramid, but as someone who has been using Django for 6+ years, what does Pyramid offer that can make me want to switch? I get the "start small" value proposition, but I have built plenty of small projects using Django, and having all the batteries included was honestly not a big deal at all. You can choose to ignore 90% of everything Django provides quite easily.
- sontek 6y agoThe "core" of pyramid is extremely powerful. It has a full authentication/authorization framework that can be tied into. It gives you no opinions on how to do these things but it having the hooks in place allows you to develop your authorization and authentication however is needed.
