If a developer gets a hold of a RHEL copy[legally] regardless of its subscriptions terms, he have all the rights to re-distribute it due to the nature of GPL2 licensing, only thing is he cannot claim to be IP/copyright owner of redhat assets like logo.
- joshuaissac 6y agoRed Hat has provided free RHEL downloads and licences for development use through their developer programme for nearly five years now.
