I have a Pentax ME Super and agree. I develop my C41 film and scan with an epson V550. Scans look OK but lab scans look a lot nicer and are cleaner. I'm debating whether to upgrade the scanner or just send all my film to a lab. If you've always shot C41, try out slide film. Its harder to expose correctly but looks great.
