- kevinburke 6y agoIt takes the vaccine a week to kick in, and waiting 15 minutes in a cramped room with other unvaccinated people maximizes your chance of getting COVID. The worst possible time to get COVID is right before the vaccine kicks in; we've essentially wasted a shot because you got the disease before you got the protection from the vaccine.
