U.S. Says China’s Repression of Uighurs Is ‘Genocide’
- Simulacra 6y agoI'm glad someone had the courage to say it. Now if we could just recognize Taiwan, and punish American companies for supporting abusive and inhuman practices against the Chinese people, we might actually get a glimpse of potential change.
- gentaro 6y agoI very much doubt the Trump administrations cares about Uighur Muslims any more than the CCP. Also funny how they need to wait until Trump's last day in office before lobbying any real criticism.
- nomdep 6y agoThat's how you know they really care about this: They could do anything and are choosing to do this.
- polka_haunts_us 6y agoAlternatively, the only reason they're doing this now is because they no longer are the ones who have to deal with the fallout from it. I think most people on the planet realize at this point China is bad, there's also a reason they mostly keep their mouths shut and continue to deal with them.
- taobility 6y agoDoes U.S government have any credibility right now?
- m-p-3 6y agoDepends if it's Trump's words or Biden's words.
- mehmetoguzderin 6y agoI find it weird that so few tech people volunteer and dialogue on this topic; many aspects are waiting for exploration and exposition in the open. It is not all politics but rather a real phenomenon going on.
