Get some proper hiking boots!
- gtr 6y agoI should imagine an experience outdoors person like her would be able to choose appropriate footwear! Boots are heavy and don't protect you from blisters either.
- Steltek 6y agoMany thru-hikers choose trainers (or really "trail runners") over traditional hiking boots. Even without aggressive ultralight gram-shedding, a contemporary pack weighs a fraction of what it once did and you don't need to up-armor your feet anymore.
