A Name Resolver for the Distributed Web
- 1vuio0pswjnm7 6y agoSooner or later we may have something like "Content Centric Networking" It does not matter where (the address) we download the content from. We only need a hash find the content and to verify the content comes from the "original" source and is therefore authentic. If we are retrieving public information, then the only data that actually needs to travel over a secure channel is the signed hash of the content. Content publishers could publish their public keys out of band, e.g., in the newspaper.
