- MrRiddle 6y agoSome, but not most. And cameras have a lot longer life than other tech, so my guess would be that 99% of cameras in use don’t have the ability to connect via USB-C.
- mbirth 6y agoJust permanently stick a tiny USB-A to USB-C adapter on the cable and they instantly do have the ability to connect via USB-C. It's that easy!
- manmal 6y agoCameras have SD cards instead of internal storage for a reason - plugging in the whole camera is often cumbersome or in some scenarios not possible.
- knolan 6y agoWhile Image Capture is fine the transfer speeds directly from camera are usually poor. Cameras also have CF and now CFexpress. I’ve personally never used an SD card in any of my cameras so USB card readers have been part of my workflow for many many years. It’s a difficult one to get right. Moving to all in on USB-C TB achieves pleasing nobody equally.
