From the perspective of someone who leads an engineering team- I’m genuinely happy and proud of my team when things are going well. I’m not blowing smoke when I say something like that- it’s all true. Now I will call out a bad sprint, and I’ll praise even more after a great sprint, but it seems to be me that just making our deadlines week after week is something to be genuinely happy for.
