2021 is feeling like year 1 a.C. (after Covid)
Given the magnitude of the impact of this virus on the planet and the fact vaccines are being rolled out this year, 2021 is looking more like year 1 than post 2020.
Imagine if everyone started countring 2021 as year 1 post COVID? That would make an interesting movie.
- thinkingemote 6y agoWishful thinking, this year has only begun and the virus is at full activity, with the southern hemisphere and developing countries yet to get 2nd wave. I think it will be next year when things quieten down for the world (probably over for most HN users before then ofc) Far safer to measure "after" as being from 2019 as in after it appeared. (Like After Christ)
