Boogaloo Bois Prepare for Civil War
- DyslexicAtheist 6y ago> Some of the boogaloo bois, she[1] told me, are “accelerationists,” meaning they’re looking for any provocation—be it proposed gun-control measures, Black Lives Matter protests, or the presidential inauguration—to spark a violent conflict. Other boogalooers believe that the “boogaloo” will be brought to them by the opposing side, by measures like gun confiscation, or some other perceived overstepping of authority. this is the mindset, motivation, and justification for violence exactly as Ted Kaczynski has used and preached ever since (after his arrest all the way until today from his cell). TK specifically mentions alliances with other radical groups, such as white power and militias to upend and "reset" civilization in a way that forces humans to live "as 1 with" nature (or insert whatever utopia the group imagines). I read his ramblings (at times he is very intelligent) few years ago and found he radicalized himself by taking whatever Jacques Ellul wrote[2] in the Industrial Society "a bit too literal". [1] JJ MacNab: amazingly skilled in her field https://twitter.com/jjmacnab https://twitter.com/jjmacnab if you're on twitter [2] Ellul is a sociologist philosopher who shows how a power, propaganda, and "systems" work (similar to the anarchist scholar James C Scott whose work takes an anthropological view).
- buffaloo 6y agoHow embarrassing for Michael J. Mooney and The Atlantic. An entire article of nothing but propaganda. Not a single interview of any of the "Boogaloo Bois" (if that's even a thing). I have no idea what Boogaloo Bois are, but based on this article, I have no confidence Michael J. Mooney does either.
