- odshoifsdhfs 6y agoApple, please don't. Keep the touchbar and if it affects design(shouldn't but ok) 16Gb is enough. Devs running docker with 69 machines are not Apple's customers. Can we just finally understand and move on?
- nicoburns 6y agoDevs are the people who make apps for Apple's customers. They'd be foolish to neglect them, even if they make up a small proportion of sales.
- dzhiurgis 6y agoThey need two lines of laptops for sure. Dev and Creative ones. Devs don’t care about colour gamut, gpu, touchbar, etc...
- nicoburns 6y agoAre many creatives using laptops? Most creative people I use are using desktops with big screens or iPad pros with an Apple pencil.
- dylan604 6y agoAs powerful as laptops are now, yes, lots of of creatives use laptops. There's entire industry (well, were before covid) of doing fast turn time on-site on video/photo editing. Lugging desktops around in giant cases paying surcharges for heavy and extra bag charges on airlines is incredibly expensive.
