Is it really better? If your windows are visible when scaled down then it's just a mess. Figma works okay because you're usually arranged in user flows so if nothing else, you can see the flow structure. For reports, school assignments, code, receipts... things without any higher level structure, it's searching for a needle in a haystack. You'd be better off with a list sorted by date.
