  Wouldn't real journalism give a benchmark to compare against - does this happen with the flu?   I have a strange feeling that, like with research papers in general, when it comes to COVID-19 there's an incentive present to find something. We would never see a headline "Lungs of Covid Patients are Back to Normal within a Year".
