I use DDG as well. I use FF as my primary personal browser, I have installed uBlock Origin and Enhancer for YouTube, https://www.mrfdev.com/enhancer-for-youtube https://www.mrfdev.com/enhancer-for-youtube, and I now never get any ads on YouTube.
