Ask HN: How to warm up a waitlist before launch?

Im about to launch hitsnag.com, which is for people who email themselves alot. Any suggestions on how to hype up an email list as the launch approaches, I have not sent out an email to them in a month because I didnt have much to say then. I hope they have not forgotten about it lol.
