South Korean AI chatbot pulled from Facebook after hate speech toward minorities
- jelliclesfarm 6y agoWhat’s the point of moderation of social media? Jack Dorsey is broken about twitter’s failure to police its members. (Who btw..is making Zuck look like a saint at this point if only because of his smarminess) Facebook bans what they consider hate speech. Does this mean that we are going to make 7+ billion people conform to the same ideologies? Is that the point of a well managed social media? It’s not about hatred and violence or any of the ‘isms’ because we have witnessed other narratives of the same vein being tolerated. It’s just very depressing overall. History has shown us that this is exactly the wrong direction to go.
