I don't want to restrict the freedom of the 99% to prevent the 1% from abusing drugs and ruining their lives, which under prohibition, they have been able to do anyway. Legalization (or at least decriminalization) would be a net-benefit to the group of people that cannot control their impulses. I'm sorry you know people who have problems with drugs, but drugs clearly won despite their illegality.
