Scientists figured out how to stop time using quantum algorithms

Anyway, the title of the press article is horrible. The idea is that they discover how to solve (approximate?) some problem that has usually needs an exponential time with an algorithm that has quadratic run time using a quantum computer. So "stop time" is just a linkbait.
