- brundolf 6y agoI assumed it was a custom mod extracted from an actual laptop
- jf 6y agoI used to think the same thing! Turns out you can buy them directly: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories-and-monitors/keyboards-and-mice/keyboards/KEYBOARD-US-English/p/0B47190 https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories-and-monitors/keyboa...
- singingboyo 6y agoNifty. Looks like a ThinkPad laptop keyboard adapted to USB instead of whatever internals the laptops use. Sadly, I'd never use it (very attached to ergo keyboards these days). But nifty, if only for the nostalgia value.
- brundolf 6y agoVery cool. I especially like that it still has the mouse built-in. I hate moving my hand to a separate mouse while programming.
- messo 6y agoI bought one of these a couple of years ago after becoming hooked on using 'the nipple' on my ThinkPad x220. Perfect when using an external monitor. I also bought a ThinkPad E495 last year. The newer nipples are not as nice as the one on the x220. I'm not sure if it's a driver problem or a hw problem, but I'm tempted to go back to my x220.
- qihqi 6y agoCheckout TEX Yoda, the mechanical variant.
