The underlying idea here is that people can't be trusted to consume any information and must be shepherded towards more specific content. This is what bothers me with much of the discussion surrounding Parler or any attempt to "subvert democracy". It ironically exposes the fact that most people are more interested in technocracy but label it as democracy and don't even see the irony.
