I don't want to be nitpicky but I am sorry I have to be: Is that feeling not better expressed by "misanthrope"?
- Jtsummers 6y agoMisanthropy is more generalized. And even a misanthrope will engage with people of the opposite sex in lively (though, IME, very depressing) debates, and even be respectful within that context. Many misanthropes I've known will even respect people who are well-educated or otherwise "successful" (by some measure). Most sexists won't. Similar to racists.
