Realtek and Broadcom are both also in my "Don't even consider"-List for most uses because of the extremely bad driver situation with both of them. Intel Wifi joined this list for most use-cases. I'm quite happy with my atheros chips (various QCA9XXX) and the mediatek chips (in the modes, where the driver doesn't crash hard)
