Is Substack becoming the Parler of journalism in a way? It seems to be attracting "overton window" challengers from both sides, but I wonder if it's going to devolve into a cesspool in it's own way.
- acdha 6y agoIt’s a common failure mode of funding everything from advertising: controversy attracts attention and you can ratchet that up profitably for a long time before you reach a point where advertisers don’t want to be associated with you.
