Perhaps reading the article instead of just pulling stuff out of nowhere would be helpful to making a salient point. This has nothing to do with economics, which the USA is still doing better on a measure of GDP than then EU, hell even California alone does better than everyone but Germany. It’s a tit for tat retaliation since the only tech companies France wants to tax so heavily are American.
