I had to look this up and it took a while to find the answer. There is no clear decision to say whether bakeries can reuse to sell cakes to gay people.
- throwaway4good 6y agoThere is a difference between saying: "Sorry - it is against our beliefs to make a gay wedding cake - go somewhere else" And saying: "Sure. I will make you a cake" and then spoil the wedding by not delivering in the last minute.
- wayneftw 6y agoSorry but what does this have to do with anything that I said? I was not trying to make any such distinction between those two acts. I was simply saying that it's not so clear cut as to whether a baker can refuse service to anyone and they please. The Supreme Court ruled that Colorado was biased against the defendant, not that their anti-discrimination law was illegal.
