I think you are greatly exaggerating Roe's reach, as many US states restrict abortions much earlier than 24 weeks.
- rayiner 6y agoThe line is viability, which at the time of Roe was around the end of the second trimester, but today is somewhat debatable. 20 weeks is the earliest limit that has gone into effect: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_in_the_United_States_by_state https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abortion_in_the_United_States_.... Earlier limits than that have been blocked by courts.
