For more than a decade, we have seen how social networks let conspiracies and extremist views thrive and how they were amplified.
There is ample evidence that "listening" does not tame or squash these positions on these platforms.
- ajkdhcb2 6y agoBut is there evidence that censoring conspiratorial opinions does anything other than strengthen them? On other platforms they get orders of magnitude more interest because they were censored, and more people move to other platforms.
