A failure of critical thinking skills at the national level or willful ignorance?
- jsight 6y agoThere's always enough of the former to go around.
- Gabriel_Martin 6y agoIt's too bad that critical thinking and rationality aren't considered integral elements of preparing students to join the workforce.
- hahamrfunnyguy 6y agoBoth. People just believe what they want. When presented with new information they will adjust the new information or explain it away rather than change their belief system (and admit they were wrong). It takes courage to admit your were wrong, and most people don't have it. Politicians, especially.
- bagacrap 6y agoCourageous or not, politicians are never rewarded for admitting mistakes.
