The javascript appears to be completely home grown, can anyone confirm?
Assuming it is, building a mobile website without a framework, be it jquery mobile, sencha, or sproutcore, shows how unaware the developers are of mobile browser quirks.
Even if it's iPad only at this point its rather nearsighted to assume they'll never want it to work on other devices.
