Matt Taibbi has never heard of public and nonprofit news?

  nonprofit != nonpartisan

    KQED, which is the default (to my knowledge) news/radio station is exactly this. Nonprofit, but definitely left leaning. I'd love if there was an alternative in the Bay Area, something truly more neutral or at least right leaning so I can listen to both points of view.

      If you want right-leaning journalism, there is always CNN and the New York Times.
