Ask HN: Wall poster ideas for software / tech-oriented office

1 points by herodoturtle 6y ago

Hi everyone, compliments of the season. I'm hoping to hear your ideas for large posters of software / tech oriented concepts that we could put up on our wall. I think the sweet spot would be something that can serve as a long-term reference whilst also providing some cool insight at the same time. Bonus points for good design. For example, a giant poster of Design Patterns would be pretty neat (although despite my searching, I haven't been able to find an example that is aesthetically pleasing). Thanks.

I'm in biopharma, but I love nerdcore medical for awesome geeky posters with great design. Some of these might speak to you: https://store.nerdcoremedical.com/collections/posters https://store.nerdcoremedical.com/collections/posters I love the immmunology one and the Path to ATP. You might like the Medical Stats one in the spirit of Minecraft. Edit to add- shout out to the designer Eleanor Lutz, her incredible portfolio is here: https://eleanorlutz.com/ https://eleanorlutz.com/

Awesome links, thanks. Indeed this is precisely the sort of design aesthetic I am looking for. You also helped me realise that I can broaden my search to include the keyword "infographic" - which should prove more fruitful than my previous failed attempts. Cheers!
