Author states they did that, but that it wouldn't allow them to create a new user account after installation. Theres probably some PEBCAK going on there - doesnt seem like they have much experience with macs.
As for restoring via configurator - you need a second mac for that.
- GeekyBear 6y agoGiven that the author owns more than one Mac, there is really no excuse except for some very obvious ignorance of how you get basic admin tasks done on the other side of the fence. As a bonus, a complete factory reset using Configurator is faster than the Windows 10 "reset this PC" process that he holds up as some sort of gold standard that Macs don't meet.
