And that's just the stuff that makes a good-faith effort to the specs. My wife bought me an LED light panel for Christmas so I wouldn't be so grouchy in the winter (gift for me or her: you decide).
It uses a USB mini connector for a 19.whatever volt power supply. Don't plug that into your external HDD by mistake.
Yes, I know USB mini is obsolete, but we still own a couple devices that use it. And the plug is stamped with the USB logo.
- citrusybread 6y agoI have that exact same light panel. I have no idea how the manufacturer got away with it -- they're not a small company at all. I also have no idea how they ever thought that was a good idea vs just using a barrel plug.
