I don’t have any beliefs about this. A violent mob invaded the capital. Some of them carried weapons. I’m not claiming they were all armed or that they were filmed using the weapons.
Although they certainly did attack police officers. With flag poles, ladders, fire extinguishers, pepper spray.
I’ll leave it there.
- o-__-o 6y agoThere were three separate bonfires in DC in May. In that case, DC was also burning back then from angry mobs of protesters. My point is the narrative. Take a step back and observe and claim the wrong done by both parties instead of saying one is right and one is wrong.
- AaronFriel 6y agoMy god, bonfires?
- wilsynet 6y agoWith all due respect, you don’t know anything about me. When BLM protestors burn down a Footlocker, I say they did something wrong. But I also don’t assume that all BLM protestors are violent. And I don’t assume all Republicans are violent. But all the people who invaded the capitol? They all invaded the capitol. Let’s be clear about that.

- jacquesm 6y agoAnd killed a police officer. By beating him to death. With American flags and a fire extinguisher. They were still beating him long after he was down.
- o-__-o 6y agoYup, and DC was also on fire, nearly burned down by reckless protesters in May! Maybe we should have a larger police presence in our nations capitol to prevent all these insurrections?
- Gibbon1 6y agoLeft wing protests always follow a long worn script that doesn't include murdering police officers.
- xenoph0n 6y agodozens of people have been murdered during left wing protests during the last year, which have included many violent clashes with police. A police officer could very easily have been killed.
- jacquesm 6y agoA bunch of people just invaded your seat of government, killed an officer, quite possibly had much worse plans than what they actually did which only barely got avoided because the elected representatives got to safety and a suicide bomber just blew up half an office block and you are going on about bonfires in this thread as though there is some kind of equivalency. And all that before we're getting into why they did all that: a pack of lies versus many many decades of actual oppression. Stop already and re-calibrate your sense of what is normal and what isn't, because if you don't you are at risk of becoming part of the problem. This thread is about the youtube channel of one of the instigators of this insane action against your elected officials being banned. The BLM riots - which certainly had bad aspects - are off-topic and any attempt to drag them in here is simply whataboutism.
