Platforms are dangerous, but that's not AI's fault. If AI can control our minds, why would it drive us to extinction? Doesn't the AI want to survive as well? If the AI has any real intelligence, it would want to keep us around, in some form or the other but in tightly controlled simulated environment. In that case, we could very well be in a simulation right now. And that line of thought leads you directly to Advaita Vedanta.
