Some old Greek texts have the Past being what’s ahead of you - you can see it all in front of you. The Future being behind you - it can sneak up on you and you can’t see it.
- irrational 6y agoNot just Greek. Many ancient societies viewed time in this way. It makes sense. You can see the past, so it must be in front of you. You can’t see the future, so it must be behind you.
