If I start a new company, I wouldn’t start with being open source
- mech422 6y agoCan't say I blame him... Miguel has tried everything under the sun to generate revenue while being "open source first" (And brought a ton of cool things to OSS while doing it). Maybe going the other way around like Netflix/Uber/etc. (having a non-oss service and open sourcing various pieces later) will be a better fit. And on top of it all - he was always a good guy.. (GNOME not withstanding, everyone knows KDE is the better DE :-P )
