- PaulHoule 6y agoThis discussion goes way back to Freud and the 'seduction hypothesis' and will keep going on. what i do know is if they say they used hypnosis you cant trust the result they got. Normally if you tell people stories that dont match up people will say you are a liar, but there are a few docs who diagnose lots of patients with dissociative (multiple) personality disorder who are like that.
