Ask HN: Has anyone here used countly for self-hosted analytics?

I'm trying to find a good self-hosted alternative to mixpanel for web-app analytics. I've seen countly come up in a few searches. I also searched HN but only found a few old posts (Including a show: HN from almost a decade ago) Does anyone here have an opinion or a better recommendation?
