Trump Insurrectionists Are Staying at Local Airbnbs, Worrying Neighbors
- wtfiswiththis 6y agoThere was a website used to organize the rally called "wildprotest.com" Was as in it was purged, here is an archive: https://archive.vn/wnWfF https://archive.vn/wnWfF On this site there is a bit about the hotels they used. But the interesting bit is the ride sharing part of the website. There is a list of users seeking or have obtained rides to the protest on that site. Looking up a few of the names yielded positive results for coup attendees. Note, "wild protest" is the phrase Trump used to describe the event he planned down the road from the Capitol building. He timed the rally to end at 1pm, when the tally started. He told his followers to pressure "weak" Republicans who by this time included Pence by name. They set upon the building and within the hour they were besieging it. Our president really did use mob rule in an attempt to overturn the election results. It really was planned well in advance, all in public. Republicans taking part in the legislative side of the coup like Marjorie Taylor Greene were smiling[1] as the mob forced them all to bunker down for their lives. This was their plan all along and if they couldn't get enough Republicans on board without violence, violence is what they were going to bring. I can't get over this. Nearly 150 Republicans who were part of this coup attempt still went with it after the violence failed to pressure more into joining. [1] While the doors and windows were still being smashed, Republicans seen smiling and laughing while refusing masks offered by Democrats bunkered with them: https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2021/01/09/gop-lawmakers-refuse-masks-capitol-riot-raju-nr-vpx.cnn https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2021/01/09/gop-lawmakers...
