Once I’m unable to live in my home, I wish to die.
I don’t want to see my home and inheritance taken by a nursing home business.
I’ll gladly trade some of the least pleasant years of my life so my children can have my inheritance.
- k1t 6y agoWhat if you believe you're able to live in your home, but your (children/doctors) say otherwise?
- thunkshift1 6y agoAtul Gawande wrote a book (Being Mortal) about geriatric care in which he has interviews with researchers who emphasized the importance of the elderly being in an environment they are most comfortable and familiar with. So spending your last days in your home would actually be a better proposition even if you are in hospice care.
