I think there would be a 99.9% consensus that such activity should be deplatformed. In fact, I think even the perpretators would say that they shouldn't be allowed to do it.
- spamizbad 6y agoExcept here we stand arguing that ISIS deplatforming = Good, Trying to kill the VP of the US deplatforming = Bad. I argue they're not meaningfully different. IF you support one but not the other you're not ideologically consistent.
- conanbatt 6y agoMaybe if you have a deontological position with the rule you mentioned, there are many other possibilities.
