We need to crack down on performative speech. Alex Jones and Tucker Carlson shouldn't be able to hide behind the legal arguments that their words aren't meant to be taken seriously because they are performative.

- zepto 6y agoGiven that he claims lizard aliens control the government, it doesn’t seem like it would be hard for him to be discredited about this.

- boxmonster 6y agoI didn't say get rid of it. How about requiring a warning label on these shows? I mean the lawyers for Jones and Carlson have already argued they aren't meant to be taken seriously. I think a label run on their shows would be enough.
