I for one upvoted not because I agreed with the article but for what I hope is a constructive discussion. Personally, and without wishing to sound entitled, I would love for it to be a lot easier to dip one’s toe in the water. A great start would be a web dev tutorial that starts from scratch with a sane Prelude that hides away anything I don’t need to know now (or perhaps ever). With of course a database, json, and html. Coming from Flask where I was well served in that regard (no pun intended). Aside: Thought ocaml might get there first but I’m not seeing that either
