Will a tweaked vaccine have to go through the full approval process again?
- lame-robot-hoax 6y agoI believe only phase 1 and phase 2.
- jonplackett 6y agoHow long do phase 1/2 take? I wonder if, under some potential circumstances (eg. the virus turns out to escape current vaccine & be much more contagious) exceptions will be made.
- bluGill 6y agoA few months. Though we don't have enough understanding of mRNA to skip phase 3 yet. That dull take time. How much time is a question of tradeoffs.
