Yeah, I think I'm done with this industry. When did everyone become a fascist all of a sudden?
Edit: Fascism literally means big corporations and governments imposing a moral structure on society. What Apple is doing is fascist. It's also stupidly anticompetitive by not booting Facebook and Twitter off for the same reasons.

- mmastrac 6y ago> Yeah, I think I'm done with this industry. Good for you? If you think getting the alt-right and Q-conspiracy people off easily-accessible platforms is facism, I'm glad you're leaving the industry.
- joshuamorton 6y ago" Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/) is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society" Strong, independent corporations are essentially incompatible with fascism. You can't really have distributed authoritarianism. Corporations imposing a moral structure on the people they choose to do business with is the freedom of association protected by the first amendment. This isn't, to be clear, me advocating for a corporatocracy. But fascism it ain't.
