Can we please stop allowing these western forces to create archaeology sites in Turkey since it does nothing but empower "Remove Kebab" memes, thank you.
I'm also happy to note that many churches and historic monasteries are being restored in (Northern) Cyprus [1] but alas nothing good can come of it.

- 1cvmask 6y agoNo one in the West likes you guys and you will be hated no matter what you do in the white world. They even say yogurt is not turkish. At least some traveled white people like kebaps in the west.
- selimthegrim 6y agoNobody ever said anything bad about Hamdi Ulukaya - check yourself
- 1cvmask 6y agoHe calls strained yogurt Greek yogurt. Perhaps that is why??
- selimthegrim 6y agoHe's not going to call it hung Kurd, that's for sure
- chr1 6y agoYogurt have been eaten from Greece to India for 5000 years, way before Turkish invasions, so why would anyone say that it is exclusively Turkish?
- OzzyB 6y agoThanks for restoring my belief in that it's all over at least we tried sigh.
- grillvogel 6y agowhat is going on in this thread
- mhuffman 6y agoYes, is this some anti-Turkish or pro-Turkish argument? I am not sure what is going on here.
- OzzyB 6y agoIt's a very clever pro-Turkish post expertly crafted to expose all the latent anti-Turkish hatred on HN. Or perhaps, I forgot to put an '/s' at the end of my original comment, you tell me xD
- chr1 6y agoWe are thousands of years late, these forces had created these sites way before invaders have assimilated the ancestors of current day Turks.
- egeozcan 6y agoI do not understand what you people are talking about (also referencing some flagged replies here). Ignoring for a moment my instinct to down-vote unneeded sarcasm, I did my best to understand what's going on, I still have no idea. What are you trying to say? If you are Turkish and trying to make a point that here is some racism against Turks, as a Turkish-German, I've never witnessed that (other than a few flagged troll attempts). If you are Greek and trying to say (with too much sarcasm) that the Turks get a "free pass" or something, I don't understand that either. All these words, and what I'm trying to say is actually: Please be clear :)
- OzzyB 6y agoTo put it plainly: The people who hate Turks do so under the illusion that Turks shouldn't exist because they're illegitimate invaders living on land that doesn't belong to them. Therefore, if that's the case, then what the fuck are Turks doing allowing people to excavate archeological sites that help prove their case? Surely the Turks aren't that stupid! It was essentially a rhetorical rebuttal to anti-Turkish racists; admittedly in bad sarcastic form, but judging by the flagged comment, it worked. Anyway, I'm happy you haven't experienced racism in Germany, those of us in other countries haven't been so lucky xD
