Ready to eat my words, but I don't think Tesla will even attempt to enter the lower-end of the market. They do well in the mid-range to high-end.
If Tesla even tries to enter the lower-end it will ruin their brand. They won't be the "think different" car anymore. Then all bets are off and they would need to compete with the likes of Toyota and VW. I don't think they want that.
- rugby065 6y agoI think Tesla will be a very different company , it will be like the "Android OS" for differnt manufacturers down the line, I believe its more of a "data" "Autonomy" "Platform" play than a car manufacturing business.
